Sunthea’s vision is to redefine what swimwear feels like, to create pieces that are as flattering and supportive as they are beautiful. I want women to feel amazing in their swimwear, not just for a holiday or a photo, but in a way that feels lasting and true.
The goal was always to build a brand that chooses quality over quantity, with timeless designs, ethical production, and thoughtful details that make every piece feel special.
We chose to manufacture in Portugal a country known for its craftsmanship and high production standards because ethical production is at the heart of what we do. Working closely with a small, trusted factory allows us to ensure that every piece is made with care, by people who are paid and treated fairly. It's a choice that reflects our values and our commitment to doing things the right way.
As we grow, we hope to expand into resortwear, creating pieces that carry the same spirit, confidence, and effortless style from the beach to a dinner party and beyond.

Sunthea was born from a simple idea, to create swimwear that makes women feel confident, comfortable, and completely themselves.
Back when I was at uni, I spent nearly four years working in a premium swimwear store, and this is where my love for swimwear started. I saw how the right swimsuit could light someone up how it could shift their whole energy.
With Sunthea, I wanted to bring that spark to more women. The brand is inspired by the strength and softness of Greek goddesses, feminine, powerful, and effortlessly graceful. Every piece is ethically made in Portugal using premium Italian fabric, designed to feel as good as it looks. And with thoughtful details like our signature pearl charm and gold hardware, each style has that little touch of something special.
